Founded in 2003, Ordinance was created to fill a gap left by larger actuarial firms — serving clients who were often dismissed or considered “too small” to matter. Meet Julie. At the helm of Ordinance since 2010.

With more than 25 years of actuarial experience, Julie Perron leads Ordinance with a steady, thoughtful approach. Her career began at a large actuarial consultancy firm and later expanded to a Bermuda reinsurer, where she took on a broad range of actuarial responsibilities. As a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, and the American Academy of Actuaries, she brings deep expertise and a clear understanding of the Bermuda market. Julie’s approach is grounded in clarity — ensuring complex actuarial challenges are explained simply and every client feels valued. Her leadership reflects the essence of Ordinance itself: thoughtful, thorough, and rooted in integrity.
